Skin Deep On Hiatus

I have been talking to my favorite tattoo artist Chris Lowe of Naked Art Tattoo in Baltimore/MD a while ago to see what he thinks of my latest idea for my next tattoo: he loves it, as do I! Cam Rackam is an amazing artist and it would be my 2nd Rackam inspired tattoo. Luckily for me Cam is a great guy and sent me high definition pictures of the paintings so i can pass them on to my tattooist Chris.
But as Frogga and I just bought a house, my trip to New Zealand to meet Chris at the Tattoo Expo in Hamilton had to be axed...mortgage is not being paid by me getting tattooed unfortunately! But I will hold on to this painting, and we'll either work it when he's in Australia later this year or whenever I am in the US next. I am thinking to get it as a chest piece and Chris already said he'll change a few things around on it so that the layout works better as a chest piece...love that guy!
Unfortunately that means, too, that Jason Keyser and I will not meet up in NZ, which is a damn shame! He has a few days downtime from touring as vocalist of Skinless and I had already offered him the floor of my hotel room to crash....ah well! He'll be in Sydney soon so we'll raise a couple of glasses then!
